"Little Truckee Ice Creamery made our wedding cake, and it was absolutely perfect! "A cute spot a little ways outside town, but glad we made the trip (the truck location in Truckee was closed for the season when we were there). Lots of outdoor seating and plenty of shade which was great. A nice patio and grassy area for dogs or kids. The ice cream was creamy and smooth with fun unique flavors like campfire and Truckee trails as well as classics like chocolate and mint chip."
"Absolutely delicious! Perfectly creamy and so many delectable flavors. What fresh ice cream should taste like. From the perfectly balanced chocolates to the creaminess of the Truckee Trails flavor to the diary free sorbets - every flavor deserves recognition. The mint chip is made with real mint! Current specialty flavor is blueberry honey lavender, but they also have classics like vanilla and spooner strawberry. We keep coming back every year (multiple times every trip) because it’s also a great family and dog friendly setting."

"Cool setting near the lake. Nice outdoor seating. Ice cream is home made and delicious! Serving size is big. Owner is a cool climbing expert too! Friendly staff! Must try if you every visit Truckee, especially Donner Lake!"
