"The traffic on the road leading here from the I-80 was HORRIBLE, but I'm not sure if that's a regular thing or just was the one day. The prices of the souvenirs inside the gift shop was surprisingly very reasonable and the worker inside was very nice and, ironically, welcoming! Beautiful scenery"

"Great place to get some visitor information regarding Truckee, Lake Tahoe, and California as a whole. There are self-serve brochures, pamphlets, magazines, and newspapers stands. There is also a small gift shop to buy both Truckee and California souvenirs to take home. Only business in Downtown Truckee that has public restrooms for the public to use. The California Visitor Center is also a part of Truckee’s Transportation Center - greyhound bus station, local bus, and Amtrak station"
