"Wonderful experience at TWT this 2023 labor day week-end in spite of the cold and rainy weather, so glad we didn't cancel... Matt and his crew were fantastic teachers and guides, we had a blast. This is a very well run local business, extremely serious about safety and working very hard providing a great experience for their customers. The water gear provided is top notch. They clearly love what they are doing and are customer oriented. Our little girl (almost 9 years old) is afraid of the water and freaked out during the safety brief prior to boarding the boats. Matt totally noticed that and knew how to reassure her, and in the end she had a blast too. I had so much fun I decided to buy the pricey photo package (which I usually never do for this kind of stuff) both because I wanted these pictures and I really want to support this business. We'll be back on a warm sunny day!"

"I had an absolute blast at Tahoe White Water Tours. It was my first time rafting and I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect and I was a little nervous. The guides made sure to ease my nerves and were super helpful by giving us the appropriate knowledge on safety and what to expect before hand as well as being very direct and clear in their communications while on the raft. I felt completely safe with my guide, Ivan, and he helped ensure that the entire ride was exciting and fun! I would absolutely go back to this place to run the rapids again! 11/10 recommend!!!"

"A+ experience from start to finish! The guides were great and it was awesome watching them work together to make it a fun, safe experience! Thank you Nate (our guide) and everyone at Tahoe Whitewater for making this the highlight of our vacation. And absolutely buy the photo package! Chris’ photos are amazing!"

"Our guide, Eric was fantastic. He said he had been guiding for 2 1/2 years and loving it. He was very thorough with instructions and explaining the history of the Truckee River area. He was also patient and fun with our group of 6! Thanks Eric! The longest wait was before we boarded the bus to get to the launch site. A photographer takes photos while you’re out there and you can choose to purchase if you want. But the drive was very brief. We got paddles, lifejackets and helmets. Safety talk took about 15-20 minutes. Lots of young kids (~8-10 yo) on our trip so this is a great trip for beginners. Truckee River was shallow and cold but also refreshing! Lots of rocks and then areas of Class II rapids and a couple of Class III. Our boat got dumped and we fell out. whoa- that water was breathtakingly cold! Brrrr! Overall it took about 2 hours on the river. Fun times."

"We had a great time with our guide Skyler; it was also fun meeting other rafters who came on our trip. They took safety seriously, but we still got to experience Class I through Class III rapids, with a borderline IV."
