Kona Lisa Coffee

"When my friends and I visit Kona we get coffee from a friend who lives near the Kona Lisa coffee place. I absolutely fell in love with it so finally I got a coffee machine to make my own espresso. I was given a birthday gift of 4 bags of my delicious coffee ( bought on line) to find that the beans were off tasting. I was sneezing and feeling icky after trying it several times. My friend had the same experience with his and he determined they were moldy. I had to throw them away! There was no date on the bags so no way to know how old they were. So disappointed. I hope this was a one time thing! I guess I am headed to Pete's for coffee.:-( IT WAS A ONCE TIME THING! I am revising my earlier post to include the following: The owner, Guy, Contacted me and I couldn't have been more happy with the customer service and very touched by his generosity. He hand delivered 4 pounds of coffee to the house I was vacationing at this year. New roaster, he says. I am again a fan of Kina Lisa. Try it. You'll like it!"

"Maybe its my euro background, but I'm a bit of a coffee quality freak. I use a JURA at home and I won't tolerate crappy coffee. While not overly impressed with all the Hawaiian I've tried in the past, I just LOVE Kona Lisa's Full City roast! Makes an awesome brew! French roast and flavored coffees are not my thing, and so I can't comment there."
