"Best banana bread on the island! We stopped here as we heard it was a must on the road to Hana. Loved the island vibes Aunty Sandy’s gives off as you pull up to it and the young ladies working were great and helpful. Will be back the next time we visit Maui!"

"We arrived very late in the day and we were in luck to have found a few remaining loaves of banana bread! We were greeted by friendly staff, who must have thought we were lunatics at our excitement to finding bread! A nice spot to stop and stretch and enjoy a snack! There are sodas, candy, coffee available as well."

"Our 4th of July caravan stopped here for their infamous banana bread. ATMOSPHERE: The takeout spot is located at the midway point on the Keanae Peninsula. A few benches were available for perching. My advice would be to drive toward the end of the peninsula and enjoy your purchases there as the scenery is gorgeous! MENU: Banana bread, sandwiches, hot dog, chili, saimin, ice cream, smoothie, soft drinks, candies and snacks. FOOD: Banana Bread - $6.00/loaf Unfortunately they don't make them with walnuts but I added in my own at home, LOL. The loaf was fresh and warm at purchase, neatly covered in plastic wrap. Taste-wise it hit all the marks but a few of us thought it was a bit heavy and dense (maybe even overly-moist) compared to other recipes. Coconut Candy I don't care for coconut in general but it was really good. Bits of tender and chewy coconut meat were seasoned with a sugary coating that wasn't overly sweet and complimented the fruit's natural flavor well. SERVICE: The gals were welcoming and friendly. TIP: $10 minimum purchase for credit/debit cards. OVERALL: Good banana bread but not the best I've had."

"Aunt Sandy's has quite the reputation for its banana bread. It's supposed to be the best, and we don't disagree! I've heard that they can run out early depending on how busy they are, so to be safe it's a good idea to get here early. The banana bread is still warm when you get it, and it's just magical. It's soft, tender, and absolutely delicious. No additions like nuts or chocolate chips, nothing sprinkled on top, just simple perfection. Keep in mind that they have a $10 minimum for credit card purchases so if you plan to only buy one loaf of banana bread (though that's crazy, you should definitely buy two), know that you'll need cash to pay for it since each one costs (as of late 2023) $8.75 plus tax."

"The hype is very real folks! This banana bread is the best we tried in Maui and the best I’ve had anywhere else! Super friendly service and they also offer drinks and other lunch items, but definitely don’t leave without trying the banana bread. Freshly made and quick to go. I recommend arriving before noon to avoid the bread selling out! When they sell out, they put a sign out. When they are starting their last batch of bread, they let you know and add you to their order list until they are out of loaves. Loved this as a quick stop for a snack on the road to Hana and can’t wait to go again. I recommend getting more than one loaf! One to try there and the other for later. Each one is only $8 and worth the price! I would honestly expect it to be even more and would pay more!"
