"I had a very puzzling and disappointing experience with Alpine Stove this year. For many years before this one, I used them for my chimney needs and was very happy with their work and response time. This year, however, when I really needed them, they left me holding the bag. I had an appointment with Craig Morris. I drove up from the valley, away from my family, took a day off from work to meet him. I told him, I needed something, anything on the top of my chimney to keep the snow out, as the top had been blown off in the previous winter, and the summer was just about over. One hour before Mr. Morris was to appear, he cancelled the appointment and told me he had no interest in helping me. There was no explanation, and to this date, there still has been none. This was worse than a disappointment, as it wasted two weeks of precious time, I could have spent looking for someone else. I also, frankly, consider it quite rude and inconsiderate. It seems to me, that if you have no desire to do a job, the very least you can do, is provide ample warning so that your customer does not waste time and is not inconvenienced. I am left with a mystery, as Mr. Morris has still not provided me with an explanation of his sudden change of behavior, despite my requests for one. Perhaps your experience will be better than mine. I just know I will never be using this company again."

"Steven & Ismael resolved a challenging issue on a fireplace flue for a condo I manage. I was SO impressed with the job they did. They were there when they said they would be there, assessed the issue and were able to come up with a solution on the spot. It was a world apart from the typical Tahoe run-around so many vendors do these days… having to go back to the shop for a part, additional site visits, spanning days of wondering when it will be done and how much it will cost. They ended up charging less than what they had originally quoted too. Soo nice to have an issue resolved so smoothly. Highly recommend!!"

"Terrible response time...They failed in their promise to get back to me with an estimate within a day or two of a repair to seal the roof where the gas chimney and splitter came off. One month later, after physically going to the store and asking for the estimate from Craig who said "OK, today or tomorrow" I got a response after 6 days. They said they would not bid on the repair. Would have been nice over a month ago. I would give them a ZERO star review if I could."
