"I came into the hospital on 3/25/24 for total knee replacement on left knee. Everybody was absolutely wonderful to me from when I first walked in the door. Evelyn walked us back, then more wonderful nurses took care of me and got me ready for the surgery. Once fully alert in recovery, I walked a few steps before being taken to my room. Jennifer was my nurse, Danny was my CNA until they went home, then Justin was my nurse last night. Everybody put my mind at ease and did everything possible to make me comfortable. The room (119) was very nice too. I was served some very good food. Everything was really nice. Walter worked with me yesterday and today, prior to my being discharged. Everybody treated Mike & I very good. Last week, Mike & I were invited to Joint Camp and it was very informative as well as being fun. Our concerns were addressed before we even asked questions. They go from check-in to check out and explain everything. They do a very good job of reducing the stress of the surgery by a detailed presentation of step by step everything. "My husband recently spent twelve days at Valley for rehab after a stay at another local hospital. The staff here were outstanding. The nursing staff was just great as were the doctors. Everyone seemed to really care and showed this each and every day. While all staff was great, a few really stood out. Liann who cleaned my husband’s room each day was such a joy. Always had a smile and kind word. She should have a job of just going room to room each day to cheer up the patients. Adam and Hillary in therapy were also great. They really took the time to work with my husband and show him just how well he was doing in therapy. As I previously stated, the entire staff here at Valley Specialty hospital is great. I cannot name them all. I highly recommend Valley Specialty Hospital."
