Kindred Hospital Las Vegas - Sahara

"My father was admitted here on 2/29 and stayed for 2 weeks. He was at Kindred to get his respitoray stabled and his oxygen back to 5 liters. All the staff was so nice to my dad and took real good care of him. It was always great to come in everyday and see Kim at the front desk greet us and ask how my dad was doing. The EVS team was always making sure my dads room was clean, Bridgette and Lisa. All the RN's were amazing but especially Elaine, Jeremy, Jasmine, and Abdul took extra great care of my dad. The RT team was amazing thank you Eliza and Mesi. Thank you to Monica for making sure my dates diet was maintained during his stay and when we needing anything pertaining to his food she was always willing to listen and help out. Toni in OT was great. Milly from PT you always put a smile on my dads face and gave him so much encourgement. Thank you so much!! All the CNA's but especially Devi, Melissa, and Dafne for taking extra care of my dad. But the star of Kindred is truly GENECIS!! I don't know if I would of made it during my dads stay without her always willing to listen to us lend any advise. She is truly an advocate to patients and family. She always checked in on us asking us if we needed anything. Thank you again Kindred for helping my dad get better and to his next steps!! We are very gratefull!"

"To those who may be thinking if this is the right facility for you or your closest one the answer is yes! The team of nurses is second to none, real people that really care. My mom was accepted and stayed at kindred Sahara for 3 weeks and some of the nurses taking care of her were Azieb, Abdul, Dara, Mariam, many others and last but not least the charge nurse Stone who is a very special person and you will only know this if you meet him. I can talk a lot about different teammates and I must mention Genesis who stayed by our side and made sure we had all our questions answered and stayed by our side along this journey. My mom had a terminal condition that she battled for many years and the team made her as comfortable as possible. Thank you Kindered team for all you did for us !"

"From where to start...from her Genesis Perez amazing welcome, beautiful soul,so helpful,kind and warms personality,everyday coming to my mom's room to ask ,did we need something to feel more comfortable! After Lisa-case menager,-again no words to describe everything what all of the team did for us during our stay in the hospital,Sharry -so kind,charming,and good person ,answer all of my e mails and questions! And the nurses we love you guys:Abdul,Tina,Aretha,Miryiam,Azeib and one young lady forget her name ,she is 23 years old,very beautiful and helpful ,she working and steady on the same time and Stone the charge nurse,he was amazing also. "I came up here once a week to check on my brother and all the staff members are very helpful and thoughtful to him feeling better. He got all the cure he needed to feel better to be discharged. GENESIS was a very nice lady. She always made me and our friend feel welcome. I would highly recommend kindred hospital to new patients."

"My husband was transferred to Kindred Sahara from Southern Hills Hospital. He has been here for 18 days so far and we are so thankful we were able to get him in here! Just the place he needs to be in order to get Hyperbaric treatments, excellent wound care, PT, and bedside dialysis! Our Patient Relations Rep, Genesis, is such a blessing! She truly shows us she cares for us! She went above and beyond for us when we had family from out of town visit! The Nurses, CNA’s, doctors, and all the staff have been very kind, caring, and take the time to listen. Lisa, our Case Manager has been very helpful and kind! I know I’m missing several, but a shout out to Trey, Elaine, Eden, Maddie, Leslie, Shakeemah, Olivia, Debbie, Red, Artie, Jessica, David, Elaine, and all the beautiful people I have missed for being so amazing! Bonus, the food is wonderful as well and it’s nice to have complimentary coffee & soda! It may not be perfect, but it’s the perfect place for us to be!"
