"The tortilla chips we're good, all 20 of them, my wife and I got 10 chips apiece, then we twiddled our thumbs and waited 10 minutes for a refill! I got a steak fajita and it was tough to eat, so I changed it for a chicken fajita and it was really good! My wife got the chicken soup and said it wasn't very good. She said the vegetables were not fresh, and it was obvious that they just pulled them out of the freezer. They seem to have a lot of servers there, however, they let my drink go empty, so the food stuck in my throat while I waited for someone to notice."

"This was my first time at Romero's with my wife and another couple. With high hopes of a good meal, it was unfortunately not the case. I ordered a combo #3 that came with 3 chicken tacos and rice/beans at a cost of $15.99, along with a side order of guacamole @ $4.99. The taco shells were out of a box, and not freshly hand-made, as I was expecting for that price. And, the guacamole was served as two small "ice cream scoops" that clearly came from a processed food container. Again, NOT freshly prepared like other Mexican food restaurants in town. Also, the chips were served in a small dish, and if you wanted more, there was an additional $0.69 charge per small bowl. The only real joy was a bottle of Michelob Ultra. Sadly, we will not be back."
