"I went into the office to apply for a unit in June and explained to Miss Tessa that our anticipated move in date would be in October. However, she fraudulently submitted my application at that time and has now put a collection account in for $250 that apparently includes an application and admin fee. I asked her to send me the documents I originally signed and she says that I now have to dispute this in collections. I fear that because the documents cannot be sent to me directly that the terms will magically change when they go over to the collection agency. So in hindsight, avoid this community like the PLAGUE. The units are too expensive to be so small and also don’t fill out an application before you are ready to move because it will be submitted at that time. *update-3/20/24 I have already spoken to Stacie Eason from Allied Property on behalf of this matter on 3/1/24 and have received no response after my last email. However, I do see that the amount has now been added to my credit report. I hope everyone viewing this will cease to do business with this company immediately."

"I have nothing but amazing things to say about the property manager Mrs. Tessa, when I say she is the most wonderful person I have ever met. She definitely makes and help this community feel like home. If you need a safe place, peaceful and caring property manager this is the place to be. She has so much patient and love for this community, you can feel it as you walk in the leasing office. I don’t have family here and not from this area and was looking for somewhere bigger for me and my family and came across the New Heights, I can say it was the best choice I could’ve ever made. "We relocated to Texarkana, TX and needed a place immediately. The manager at New Heights (Tessa P.) was the only manager that responded to my inquiry online. Other apartment complexes didn't bother. Tessa got our application pushed through and we moved into the unit within 3 days. New Heights has been very accommodating and Tessa has been great every step of the way. If you are tired of apartment living, I would give this townhome a try. Pros: 3 bedrooms 2 car garage shared wall is the garage (quiet neighbor) Deposit alternative payment option Maintenance requests completed immediately Con: No designated pantry (not a deal breaker) Washer and Dryer is in the garage (again no big deal)"

"New Heights apartments was a wonderful place to stay. The properties are very accessible, clean and have ample room and garage space for keeping everything at home. Most places don’t offer the amenities and definitely don’t offer a 2 car garage like these rentals do! This place is also centrally located close to most of the best restaurants and shopping in the Texarkana area. Along with that is the exceptional customer service that you will receive here. Tessa (the on sight - hands on manager) is professional and is always quick to respond to your questions or any issues that might arise. I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking for a place to call home- however short or long you are needing a place to live.
