"Love this salon. Shelby is an excellent stylist and has such a sweet personality. You will love her. This is my second year in Texarkana and I've noticed some salons/stylists don't bother returning calls for appts. Coming from a bigger city I've never experienced such a thing! I assume it's because I don't need (more $ for them) color or cut as I'm only here part of the year. I simply need a wash and blowout. This salon is happy to provide that. I've been very pleased with classy and professional Danny Rateliff salon."

"I made an appointment a week in advance. When I got there I asked for a silver blonde (I’m already blonde) and to make sure my face is framed in well as i wear my hair back a lot and most of my gray hair is around my face. A normal salon visit for me is over 4 hours so I was happy when the bleach was in and I was processing in one hour. Moved to the sink where the shampoo process was painful and rough. Then my hair was brushed out in the sink where I’m pretty sure I lost 1/4 of my hair. Mind you I have long hair. Back to the chair I was turned away from the mirror while my hair was dried. I was then turned to the mirror where my cape was removed and I was told I could pay up front. I was not given a mirror to look at the back and was rushed out of there. Then I was told it was $178!!! I was charged for a style for her drying my hair. I’ve never in the 24+ years of getting my hair done paid that price. I’ve got lines, splotches and my color has a slight ashy color but pretty much the same blonde as I had going in. Very disappointed and extremely sick over the money I had to pay. I would not recommend."
