"Unfortunately, this owner is scrubbing all his bad reviews. This business has stopped responding to me after accepting $92,000 of my money for a new Defender build. They are ignoring several other customers as well, but have removed those reviews as well. Sadly, I cannot get a response from their management and have no way of knowing if/when my Defender build will ever be completed, let alone delivered. Michael Kraabel, will you please respond and finish my build?"
"I acquired an entry level 1994 300tdi 5 door station wagon Land Rover Defender from Bishop + Rook in the fall of 2020. I met Mike in 2018 and explained what I wanted to do with my Defender. He took almost three years finding the absolute perfect truck for me. An overlanding project that I could put my stamp all over and be a comfortable woman in the bush while remaining stylish. (He even put a rooftop tent on!) So far I have had two repairs with it. An axel shaft broke three days after I got it. It broke on a Sunday, I was fortunate enough that was a part in stock during covid. He sent them direct to me in four days and I had a local repair shop work with me to put them in. I was back on the road in less than a week. The second repair was an alternator that went out on a trip to Duluth. I drove from Duluth to the Richfield shop on Saturday morning and with in an hour a new alternator was installed. Building cars that are no longer manufactured is tough. Sometimes you salvage things, sometimes you order something and it doesn’t arrive for six months. If Bishop and Rook has it in hand they make it happen. I don’t think there is any other Defender out there that could light me up the way Sarge does. Thank you to Mike and the team at Bishop + Rook. You guys are the best."
