"We should’ve left as soon as we heard the receptionists talking about how they would never get our breed of dog. They literally had a conversation about it while we sat feet away filling in paperwork. The receptionist also told her colleague “they’re going to waste $600 today” after ending a call in which she told someone they needed to bring their pet into the emergency room. I brought my dog in for lethargy and gagging and the vet told us he might have aspiration pneumonia and would need X-rays. Okay fine, so we ask what will be done if the X-rays come back clear. He says they’ll still treat him for pneumonia (keep in mind he estimated the cost to be $5-7,000 for this treatment). So regardless of the what the $350 X-rays say they’re going to put my dog through this intensive and scary treatment. The vet scared us into thinking his oxygen levels were dangerously low only to find out his oxygen levels were only 1-2% lower than normal and his breathing was clearly not labored or distressed. We told him we weren’t sure and he tried to guilt and scare us into keeping him there. We paid the $194 fee just to be seen and promptly took him to another vet who took the time to fully investigate and told us the issue was in fact stomach related. Basically, the vet at MedVet was pushing a ridiculously expensive treatment on us without any care for his actual condition. Thankfully we only lost $194 and got better, more considerate treatment elsewhere."

"My sweet baby had to have emergency surgery to save him at just 2 years old, and his whole team was incredible. The staff texted me the moment they began his surgery and his surgeon called me directly to update me afterwords. They saved his life and treated him with such genuine care. This is my soul dog and they treated him as such. They even called a few days later to ask how he’s doing and if I have concerns. When I did have concerns, they were diligent and efficient with helping me. Thank you so much for helping my baby!"

"They saw her in critical condition and immediately started treating her. They put her in an oxygen tank so she could breathe, and helped me sort out the financial agreement quickly and humanely. Their medical treatment was thorough, inventive and effective. They did their best to keep the costs down while still providing excellent care. Although my baby was on the brink of death with a very doubtful prognosis, they did save her. She bounced back and came home 2 days later. She is currently back to playing with her feathers and giving joyful love to everyone she meets. The staff was very caring and helpful. They showed they care deeply for every animal they treat, and they are incredibly smart in their medical treatments."

"I love this place! My dog got injured by another dog and we were seen within about 20 minutes of arriving. They took really good care of her and showed a lot of compassion for my Clover. She ended up needing surgery, but the whole thing only ended up being just short of $1000, including her medication and suture removal 2 weeks later. I would definitely go here again :)"

"Shout Out To Everyone At Medvet, you are all the most knowledgable professional staff that I have ever met ! You are the most incredibly caring & friendly folks that I could have found to entrust with our very sick toy poodle ! I was extremely impressed with your super clean modern facility & the latest medical equipment for diagnosing pet issues to determine the exact treatment to restore our baby to good health. Our Dr. performed a thorough physical exam & completed blood work. The blood was processed in the onsite Medved lab. The results were ready within 20 minutes so the Dr. was able to meet with us & go over the results & to suggest options for a more involved exam involving the next steps that we chose to have performed. We selected to have x-rays & finally an ultrasound to view the internal organs in 3-D. The x-ray was clean, But they did find inflation in the pancreas. The ultrasound also verified there were no blockages in the rest of his system. Our baby is now home with a new diet (controlling his pancreas issues) for an 11 year old toy poodle. Medications were dispensed at Medvet to relieve stomach pains for the next few days as he fully recovers. I recommend Medvet to everyone that has a pet in distress or needs medical emergency attention, NOW !!! OPEN 24/7/365"
