"I never owned a pool before and decided to hire someone for weekly maintenance. After a year of algae outbreaks and overpaying for chemicals I decided to take it on myself. The first step was getting rid of the green, yellow and black algae outbreak in my pool. I went to Sun Devil with a water sample and explained the situation. They explained the maintenance company was using far too little chlorine for my size pool. They gave me explicit written instructions that I followed. I brought another sample back in 3 days for a checkup and they gave me more instructions. Within a few days my pool was back to being sparkling clear. The next step was learning how to maintain the pool going forward. I scheduled their tech to come out for a "pool school". He was super knowledgeable, explained to me how everything worked (pump, filter,pop up heads, lighting, features, etc) and how to maintain everything. All my questions were answered. A month in and I'm in a routine,saving money, and most importantly my pool looks great. I bring in a sample to sun devel weekly during the hot months, they test it and let me know what my pool needs. Mid week I use a strip to make sure levels are maintained. Sun Devil gave me everything I needed to be a competent pool owner."
