"I was able to work with Kim on a Saturday with an O-ring that was demolished and the empeller was damaged because of it. I brought in the entire motor and all parts connected to it. She quickly replaced all the damaged parts and super patiently showed me how to do it. She struggled with the wiring harness due to not having all the correct tools and the old parts being stuck to the motor, eventually she got it. I took it home and connected it all back up. While I was connecting it back up, she called to make sure it was going well!! Of course, I was not done, so it was more for well needed encouragement!! I got it all hooked up and nothing...my 10 year old motor needed to be replaced. I took it all apart and brought it back. She tested the motor to make sure it was a dud and it was. We had plans that evening, so I was not able to pick it up that day, but she called me to assure me that the new motor was ready to be picked up AND that she had another employee that was more experienced with the wiring check it over to make sure it was all good. She left it with the Sunday crew and the Sunday crew knew exactly what was going on and had me out the door in a few minutes. The communication and follow up was amazing!! Pool is crystal clear!! I have been going here for years, Sun Devil has always been great, but this was amazing over the top customer service from BOTH gals that particular Saturday, it was worthy of a review, which I rarely do!! "Sun Devil Pool Supply sold me a spa set of poison to my above ground hot hub. I turned to them for guidance on how to manage and maintain my 4 person above ground swimming pool and spa. Recognize the hand writing in permanent ink on the chemical containers? It's your employees! I took photos, I showed you the hot tub in size and scope. This is what you recommended I use and at what dosage: The set includes: Sanitizer 45 (1 cap a week while running the jets), 1 tsp of Leisure time renew after each use, E-Z Clor, (1-2 tabs a week in a floating dolphin container), spa up and spa down after each test of the water. I followed your advise like clockwork and 4 months later my tub is a lovely shade of chemical peel white, it has a major leak, my motor is damaged, the lining is corroded and dissolved by bromine and chlorine and I am out one hot tub that is chemically damaged with a cost of repair that makes it irreparable. I appreciate the honesty of the spa mechanic today. I am more upset with Sun Devil Pool and Spa than you know. Your chemicals and advice damaged my hot tub beyond repair. I now know what bromine and chlorine can do to a hot tub, why didn't you?!? So mad! Sorry doesn't repair or replace this unit."
