"False advertising/bait-and-switch: I ordered Top One Feiyues from WLE, which they advertise on their website. They shipped me Taiji Wen Feiyues, which aren't the same (not the shoes Shaolin monks use). The look is similar but NOT THE SAME and the fit is worse. Their customer support told me they were the same and that the Top Ones were yellowing in the shipping crates, so they switched suppliers. Then they stopped replying to my email. No apology, no discount, no refund. The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is that they used to ship as advertised for several years. Edit: WLE sent me a refund for my order after posting this review. I am giving them an extra star (3 total) for the effort. A simple "my bad" would have been way cooler."
"Always had a great experience shopping here, staff are very helpful. Have called or emailed ahead, learned staffs are cut to order. Prices are great, but mainly come here for weapons, good selection of books and videos too. Pads and gloves and apparel, I go elsewhere for."
"I found this place by searching for martial arts supply. When I pulled up, I noticed a sign that said, 'appointments only'. So, I was about to call when someone came to the door. Not really a retail space, more like a warehouse. But there was literally stuff from front to back, floor to ceiling. But the clerk found what I needed rather quickly. Very helpful., too. If I am ever in need of anything else, this will be my 'go-to store."
"I ordered a pair Feiyue Shoes late on July 3 Didn't think they would even see the order until after the 4th of July holiday. I received them by mail on July 6. They went out the same day I ordered them. Excellent!"
