The Hadley North Scottsdale

"Formerly Liv North, now “The Hadley”, was once the apartment complex to live at in North Scottsdale. Nothing could beat the location, and at the time they had a great sense of community and amenities. However, for any of those that are familiar with the movie Heavyweights, as soon as the Hadley took over, the complex was “Perkisized”. It’s a shell of its former glory. Out with the community calendar of events, food trucks, happy hours, and overall community feel of the complex. In came the lack of communication, non-existent staff that doesn’t respond to emails or answer the phone, and overall lack of care/attention to detail. Literally when the Hadley came in, they didn’t even tell the residents how to pay their rent with the new system (fyi, you get charged an additional $7 just to pay online). I don’t even think they knew how to properly run an apartment complex when they took over. It took them over a year to start rebranding the complex (don’t worry, I saw your cool logos you put on the glass doors in the gym though). The hallways and floors are hardly cleaned anymore, gym equipment is breaking and not replaced/fixed, common spaces around pool and rooftop look weathered and need updated, people park their campers and jet skis for storage in the lots, and trash piles up in the trash chutes. I kid you not, there was a weekend when the trash chutes were so full that trash was piling into the trash rooms and the whole building smelled like garbage. On top of this, there is no dumpster if you want to take your trash out because they flip the carts sideways by the compactor. If you need to contact the office, good luck. There’s been times I’ve called the office multiple times with no answer in a day. When I finally went in person they say “oh that’s weird, we’ve been here all day.” Same with email…they might respond 3 days later after you follow up multiple times. What once was a lively community full of events has now turned into basically a dingy college dorm. Sure the location is still great, but for the amount you’re paying, there are much better options in the area that are newer and have better amenities. Good luck Hadley, it was nice while it lasted."

"Anissa Tapia, the leasing agent is wonderful! She gave so much info when she gave tour and has been extremely helpful going out of her way to help me as I am getting settled from moving from Wisconsin. She even helped me set up my new TV with Direct TV because I never had to set up streaming before. Great example of customer service and just being a good person!"

"I moved here from another state and immediately felt welcomed by the community and staff as a whole I specifically remember the property manager , Alexis, and how much she made not just myself but my children feel welcomed inside the Hadley community. I had just had a surgery when i first moved in and she had offered to help me when she saw me struggling and ever since has always made me feel like im at home. My kids love her and will stop in her office to give a friendly hello and a hug. I was very nervous about moving with my kids especially but this is my new home and im enjoying every part of it. Dont get me started on the spectacular views from the rooftop as im grilling or the heated salt water pool my kids and ienjoy. Thanks Hadley and Alexis for making our residency here warm and welcome."

"We moved here about 6 months ago, and so far, we love it here! It’s located in a great area, and It’s pet friendly. There’s occasionally accidents in the elevators, but they have professional cleaners that come at least once a week. The amenities are open late, and every tenant we’ve come across is pleasant. No complaints!"
