Sunrise in Biltmore Apartments

"I moved from Ohio with my whole family this is the first place we moved to. They over charged the whole time I was there. Saying when they switched from comservice to ubwest that we didn't get charged the right amount so they had to over charge us to get back on track. I was paying 400 for water sewer trash. My water was 250 dollars most months. When the water and sewer went down the other bills like gas for the fire pit and grill you never use went up to 40 dollars. I had money takes from my rent portal and added with out me knowing. Anything they do wrong they will blame and charge you. I had roaches the whole time. I threw so much of my stuff away. Kids are not welcome. The other tenants will non stop complain about kids. I don't think it's anyone's fault either. There is just nothing for kids to do and if they find something to do it's going to bother everyone. No chalk no bikes no scooters no skateboards no balls. Just stand quietly in front of your apartment. Lots of people have been there for 20 years plus so they hate on everyone else. Dog poop everywhere. Whole time I used dog park I had to clean others poop just so my dog can run a little and not step in it. Worst part is how they just took all our money left and right and left us worst off."

"Moved over from Gilbert to Phoenix and found this nice complex. Nice area, beautiful apt complex. The property manager is active and shows concern and empathy for residents. Easy to talk to and work with. The grounds is kept up well and makes a nice environment to relax and be comfortable. Pet friendly. Has its occasional typical communal living issues. Maintenance is responsive and communicative. If you are looking for a nice residence this is a quality place. The pluses outweigh the minuses in my experience!"

"On the 1st of this month, we paid our rent, as we have consistently done for the past 10+ years in this community. However, to our surprise, we were informed that our payment was not received, despite having clear evidence, in the form of a receipt, that it was paid in full on time. This misunderstanding led to the issuance of a five-day eviction notice, causing significant distress to my brother, who has always been diligent in meeting his rental obligations. Despite presenting the proof of payment, the situation escalated when we were told that the rent was not received and faced eviction and received a letter from the courts. I understand the importance of adhering to lease agreements and promptly addressing any outstanding payments. However, it is disheartening that, despite providing evidence of our timely payment, the situation was not resolved amicably. This has caused unnecessary stress, especially for my brother, who has experienced health issues exacerbated by this ordeal. She explained that she was constantly trying to reach my brother looking for the non-paid rent. She was told at least 4 times rent was paid on the first. That's why we have these laws in place to protect the renters. My brother is sick over this, and all he did is pay his rent on time in full. We never got upset with this lady, but she made it extremely hard. She came to our apartment again to tell us that we were being evicted after the 5 day notice, and she came to our apartment again and told us that she sent it in. This is crazy I have never heard of a landlord doing this. Additionally, I must express my disappointment in the fact that the landlord came to the apartment again to let us know she had sent the paperwork in, and this time My brother was home, and I was able to have him find the receipt as I didn't know where he kept it. She took the receipt and said she needed to look at the check number after A hour she never came back to give us back the receipt so I went to the office and she looked and seen it was me and without saying a word puts up the paper with the receipt. I took it and walked out. We received the court paperwork What a shame this is wrong and never should have happened if only they put more effort into doing their job they would Of found the mistake yet after showing this Lady proof she wants to wast our time and the judges time. This has never happened to me in fifty years We never miss our rent, and it has been paid on time over the last 10 years at least. Sincerely, Caesar Delpino"

"Don’t move here. It looks nice but everything will break and maintenance takes forever. There is loud construction all the time. There isn’t really a management company, there’s been 3 in the 2 years I’ve been here and they can’t keep track of anything. There is one person on site sometimes who can’t do anything. Calls never answered and emails aren’t returned. People have their animals running all over the place and no one does anything about it. The pool is green most of the summer."
