"Most of the reviews on here are by the former managers friends and family. They are not valid. This place is horrible and run down. There is new management. Current residence Be extremely careful when moving out.... they will try to charge you for the past Management’s neglect to caring for the apartments. The new managment does not have any old accounting records and will try to charge you. We currently have a complaint with the attorney general against the Hibiscus and Taylor Street Managment. The current managment company did my move out inspection with out a move in check list, without telling me the date of the inspection, and without giving me the chance to remedy or explain the issues caused by former managment. We are now being charged for all of the years of neglect by the managment and her handy man which is 4800. This amount included damage under the sink from handy man and plumber and never fixed by management, damage to dry wall by electrician who needed to rewire the apartment due to old wiring, to replace the already old and stained carpets, and cleaning fees/ carpet removal fees. Do not rent here, do yourself a favor and rent around the corner for cheaper. No matter how many mangangmwnt companies this place has it will still have the same unethical owner and apartments with bad bones. Do yourself a favor and rent around the corner!"

"My favorite apartment of all the places I lived in Phoenix. We absolutely loved our time at the Hibiscus. A charming mid century modern building surround by lush greens and citrus grove. The patios are large and spacious, perfect for enjoying the Arizona indoor/outdoor lifestyle. The manager Phyllis is wonderful and always completes requests quickly and efficiently. The maintenance man is excellent and very helpful. Gorgeous pool and so close to everything. The only reason we left is the fact that we inherited a home, otherwise we would still be here!"

"My mom has been living at the Hibiscus apartments for over twenty five years!! It is a beautiful complex.Each apartment has a wonderful view of the courtyard.Which consists of a variety of trees,plants,vines shrubs and green grass.Not to mention each apartment has a patio and a large area to make and cozy as you like.The Hibiscus is a quiet place to live with many professional tenants along with retired individuals.It is in a great location as well as easy access to the freeway,shopping mall, dining, entertainment, and hiking trails. And oh what a nice view of both sunrise and sunsets.My more favorite is the delicious citrus trees,the beautiful sounds from a variety of birds;especially the Mexican Love Birds! There is also the relaxing sound from the water fountain and the year round access to the pool and BBQ's. It is so nice to visit my mom and the lovely friends she has there.Not to mention the complex manager! She is very professional and has a great personality too!! A great place to live and call HOME!!"
