"The staff and doctor were very friendly and knowledgeable, however there is one huge red flag that will keep me from returning or referring friends. They do not use numbing drops before the painful dilating drops. The drops sting terribly and nearly made my 11 year old cry. The assistant expressed that she hates having to restrain screaming children to do the drop and the doctor said he has tried repeatedly to get management to add them to the routine but they refuse. The doctor was kind and apologetic, but we absolutely will not return unless their practices change."

"We have seen Dr. Cassidy at ABC children’s eye specialists for over 15 years. He is amazing! He takes time to listen and understand the complexity of my sons challenging visual issues. He treats children with disabilities with respect and is so kind and knowledgeable. He understands things that other specialists do not. I highly recommend him! It is worth a wait to get into see him."

"The lead, Parley, was helpful, friendly, and good with kids. Dr. Cassidy was wonderful! He was welcoming and great with kids. He cared for his patients like family! The optical side was friendly. I do wish they took insurance though. I appreciated them working with me on a discount."

"If you have an autistic child, DO NOT BRING THEM HERE. We took our 4yo daughter here and it became clear they didn't know how to treat sensitive kids. The waiting room is open and loud. The waits are too long. They have a "quiet" room with no door and the tv didn't work. They dilated her eyes and I had to check with the staff after 30 minutes of waiting. They didn't show any concern. When they checked her eyes, one was fully dilated and the other partial. They wanted us to put drops and wait again. My daughter became scared and frustrated. Rather than be calming, the nurse became frustrated. She also said the doctor would not bother checking unless both eyes were fully dilated. I made the decision to leave. If there was no consideration for a spiraling and scared autistic little girl, there was no reason to stay and even less reason to bother coming back."

"Dr. Smith and all the staff were very kind with my four year daughter, who struggles slightly with sensory processing and communication. Things were kept simple. The visit was a little long and came with a lot of waiting but we were warned before our appointment was made. It was no longer than we expected. The office is clean and very child friendly."
