"This review is about the harbor as well as Lake Pleasant itself. The harbor has several slips, including many that are covered. Some people live full time on their houseboat. Access to slips are gated. For patrons and visitors, the harbor also has a slide, a restaurant, and a gift shop. A tram/trolley provides rides from parking lot of you're not up for the lengthy walk. Three star rating is not for anything undesirable, but compared to other lake harbors around the country, this harbor doesn't provide the ambiance, abundance of shopping, and entertainment that so many others do. Also, Lake Pleasant itself does not offer community living nor private resident homes surrounding the lake, as is quite often found around lakes throughout the country. Nor is there a lake view road around the lake. Although there are several access points around the lake to campsites with pedestrian trails to the lake."
"Great place to camp or do a lake day! Two different restaurants to choose from, one is on the Marina side at the regional park and the other is at the harbor RV resort. Large boat ramps and plenty of space for parking also Lakeshore day-use seems to be popular. Wild burros running around make it feel like you're further away from the city. I was providing party shuttle transportation that day and did not have any issues getting in or having to wait too long."
