"“Professional, friendly and honest” My 2012 Highlander Limited Hybrid with 152,500 miles showed its first internal problem since we purchased it. Dash screens showed warning “Check ABS required by authorized dealer”. I didn’t want to take it to a Toyota dealer and wait for a service schedule so I searched Phoenix area for a Toyota specialist for quicker service. My search provided two shops and after reading both shops customer reviews I chose The Auto Bar (both shops had solid customer reviews) because customers spoke of an honest and fair man. I was not disappointed in my choice as Gabe was friendly and courteous when listening about the vehicle message board. He said his schedule was uncommonly light this day so bring the vehicle by for a quick diagnosis if possible. I arrived at his shop about 9:00am. After about 30 minutes Gabe informed me the 12volt battery showed low on his diagnostic equipment and that it was likely the cause of the ABS message. He told me he could probably get a Toyota certified 12volt battery delivered by 3:00pm. I agreed and returned at 3:30 after Gabe’s call that he had received the battery. Within 20 minutes Gabe completed the install and we were on the road. Gabe, The Auto Bar, will be my Toyota mechanic going forward and will get my highest recommendations to any and all who need an honest, friendly and professional mechanic. I have always believed a man’s best friend is either his dog or his mechanic. I don’t have a dog so Gabe is it!"
