"I had a wonderful experience with the dental hygienist, Natie! She was very thorough - took her time cleaning, scraping and polishing my teeth. We discussed using different flosses etc. I also liked Dr. Herrejon-Ruiz - Luckily, I had no cavities, but he recommended some future prevention which I will consider. And the front desk receptionist very warm and friendly. I highly recommend Val Vista Smiles to everyone who is looking for a capable dentist with great staff."

"Dr. H is just the best! I was not surprised to find 99 five star reviews and not one lower! On Christmas Eve 2023, while flossing my teeth, a chunk of my front tooth (a crown of about 50 years) came flying off into the sink. We had booked travel on the day after Christmas to come to AZ and I was beside myself. The edges of my crown were sharp, not to mention "unsightly". I immediately contacted my son, who in turn called his brother-in-law, Dr. Nate Larson (orthodontics) to see if they could recommend someone to help me upon arriving in AZ. The immediate reply was Dr. H at Val Vista Smiles. I emailed him on Christmas Eve to see if her could squeeze me in when we arrived to patch up the broken tooth. I got an immediate response and an early morning appointment to help me out. The appointment was great, Dr. H put me at ease, treated the problem in the best way possible. He has great "chair side" manners and "soft touch" hands. I was in and out and will pick up a new permanent crown in the morning. I am beyond grateful and recommend Dr. H at Val Vista Smiles, enthusiastically and with absolutely no reservation, he is a dentist willing to go above and beyond for someone, from far away, who needed his help! Ive experience a great loss recently and I can't tell you how good it made me feel when I received the response that I did from Dawn. It wasn't forgotten as over a month later the Doctor reiterated how he knew the interruption in my care was due to the time I need to adjust to the loss.
