"Let me just start with this - I hate going to the dentist. I think almost all of us do. It’s not exactly a “fun” experience. But I actually cannot say enough good things about Gilbert Modern Dentistry. Dr Tobias is truly the best dentist I’ve ever been to. He is warm, personable, and it is clear that he genuinely cares about his patients as actual human beings. My first appointment with Dr Tobias was an emergency appointment - I had cracked my tooth, and he was able to get me in the day before a long holiday weekend - and I hadn’t been to a dentist in years because of previous horrible experiences with other dentists. Dr Tobias, and the entire staff, made me feel so comfortable and cared about. He took his time explaining things to me, took time to build a repertoire and trust with me. They did such a great job repairing my tooth that I made an appointment to come back the following week for another issue, which was addressed with the exact same care and compassion. Not to mention they all remembered me and made me feel like I was an old friend, which further helped to ease my dentistry anxiety. From the minute you walk into the clinic until the minute you walk out, you are treated with respect by every employee. I applaud the culture that has been built at this office!"

"Such a great experience all around. I chipped my front tooth on a Sunday. Called Monday morning and they were able to get me in at 1230 on Monday as a completely new patient. Was able to fill my tooth with absolutely no pain. Staff were amazing. Dr. Tobias was amazing. I have had somewhat traumatic experiences with dentists in the past. He completely eased my fears and explained exactly what he was doing throughout the procedure. Unparalleled bedside manner. They have won a new patient."

"This dental practice is absolutely the best, they truly go the extra mile. I have had the best experiences from teeth cleanings to crowns being replaced. I came over a year ago for a second opinion on crowns that I was told needed to be replaced immediately. Dr. Tobias said that they were going to need to be replaced in the next year or so but that they were fine unless I just wanted to do it. Fifteen months later, my crowns were just replaced in one day and it was an outstanding experience. Highly recommend Dr. Tobias and his staff."

"Save yourself time and go to another dentist before you spend money here or are convinced you need their treatment plan. The hygienists have almost always told me I need a deep cleaning + irrigation and I’ve always declined. I’ve been going here for the past 5+ years for a cleaning every 6 months and am always seeing new hygienists. Now I understand why they have such a high turn over. At my recent appointment they refused to do a regular cleaning as “it’d just be putting a band aid on the issue”. So I just took time off work to sit in their office for an hour for Jerry (the worst hygienist I’ve met) to try to make me believe my teeth (gum pockets) were in bad condition, that I had Periodontitis and I needed their treatment plan and then be refused my regular cleaning after I refused their treatment plan. I went to another dentist a week later and they told me my teeth are healthy (I only have one I need to keep an eye on, which I already knew) and I don’t need a deep cleaning or irrigation. To make all this even more laughable they call me 2 weeks later to schedule my 6 month cleaning. I should’ve switched dentists way sooner."
