Family Dollar

"Family Dollar and The Dollar Store are alike in many aspects. Granted, I do not shop here often. Then again, as a mother to elementary-aged children, and another beloved family member, maybe I should. They offer everything from the following list: briefs for children, shoes, swimsuits, lawn care products, house cleaners, Graham crackers, paper towels, board games, seasonal products to milk! I had just completed my children's Easter baskets a few days before checking out Family Dollar. It was a happenstance that I ended up here, as The Dollar Store is less than one mile away. As I walked through Family Dollar, I thought of the money that I could have saved if I had shopped there as opposed to ( Walmart, Target, or other outlets). They truly offer almost everything. I would Truly recommend that you buy your milk elsewhere period if you want to purchase milk elsewhere, as it will cost you around $4.40 at Family Dollar. Also, very few things are merely one Dollar, although they did have some items selling for $1. Probably, around 20% of their items were $1.00. This is a great place to take your younger kids and allow them to make some purchases. This will give them a feeling of empowerment, allowing them to experience responsibility for their own purchased items (like toys)."

"Staff was really friendly and my wait in line was not long. The cashier really knew what he was doing and double bagged my Fanta 2L bottle without me having to ask him to do it."

"This food desert should change its name there's no low prices product in there stores just keeps going up completely taking advantage of shoppers in my opinion"

"There's an employee name Jeremy. He should NOT be in customer service. I was looking at stuff in an isle and my son was behind me picked up a dented Pokémon ball that someone already pealed the plastic seal partially. I saw him looking at it and paid it no mind. I turn because Jeremy started yelling at my kid" why are you opening that? Throw it to me! Next time I'm making you pay for it!" I turned to see my son had picked a sliver off this dented ball. He said sorry and tossed it at the employee, my other son who's older said it was already opened before my brother grabbed it, Jeremy still snarled at my son's. If this man would have just said " ma'am your kids are opening an item." I would have took care of my son and bought the toy. It wasn't that deep. The customer service is terrible here. I put my armful of stuff I was going to purchase back on a shelf and went and asked another employee to grab the dent almost open toy and bought it. Never coming here again."

"This is my favorite store in downtown Buckeye. Sarina is the manager and she really loves her job and customers and becomes fast friends with everyone who walks into her store. Betsy has been there for years and is such a fire cracker! We all love her. Jeremy and Gwen are also wonderful and kind. The staff is great, the store is always organized or being worked on to get there after a truck. They are always well stocked, and compared to Dollar General which is always out of 35% of the store and doesn't always have consistent stock in some foods. Family Dollar is the best choice if you need anything and everything aside from fresh produce but you can get dairy. freezer food etc. Shop here If you're in the area. You won't be disappointed."
