"Disheartening Customer Experience: Unprofessional Conduct My recent experience at this store left me utterly disappointed and disheartened. Initially, the salesperson, Tony, seemed amiable and accommodating, but the encounter took a sharp turn when my companion and I expressed our intention to consider our options before making a purchase decision. To our surprise, the salesperson's demeanor changed abruptly, and what started as a pleasant interaction turned into a hostile confrontation. When we mentioned the possibility of returning the next day after contemplating the price, the salesperson's tone shifted dramatically. Instead of respecting our decision-making process, he aggressively retorted with remarks like, "What are you looking for? A $50 discount? You wasted my time?" Such unprofessional behavior is unacceptable in any customer service setting. As customers, we have the right to make informed decisions without feeling pressured or belittled. It's concerning that expressing a desire to explore alternatives was met with hostility rather than understanding. Moreover, the policy restricting customers from shopping around for better prices adds an additional layer of frustration. A healthy marketplace thrives on competition and consumer choice. Being deprived of the opportunity to explore alternatives only serves to limit options and potentially result in dissatisfaction. Ultimately, my experience was marred by the disrespectful conduct of the salesperson. As a customer, I value professionalism, respect, and the freedom to make informed choices. Unfortunately, my encounter fell short on all accounts. I sincerely hope that management takes steps to address these issues to ensure a more positive and customer-centric experience in the future."

"We came in for a refrigerator. Ended up buying an entire appliance set! The service was fantastic. Very knowledgeable, easy to deal with, and looking out for our best interest. Delivery was a piece of cake. The gentleman who brought our appliances took such care to carefully remove and install what we had purchased. Unlike other places we've used before that didn't care what damage they did to our home, these fellas were top notch."

It took a week for parts to come in; but just as promised they were installed in a week and fits perfectly in the space."

"BE CAREFUL. FALSE WARRENTY. So I purchased 4 appliances and a 3 year warrenty through Spencer's. The trim on my dishwasher started breaking off within a year. I called the warrenty department. Not covered was the response I received. I called Spencer's directly, they assured me they would take care of it, I sent them photos as they requested and they never responded or corrected. Also the circulating microwave without a vent absolutely sucks, and doesn't work at all. That was a terrible up charged product the salesman talked me into. Overall, extremely disappointed in the products and service received so far."

"Most of us hate dealing with a salesperson when we shop because we are afraid of being manipulated in what we purchase. Therefore, I do a thorough search online so I know what features are available in an appliance, what reviewers have experienced with various models, and what sale prices are available. Armed with this knowledge, I entered the Spencer's location at Tatum and Thunderbird and told the salesperson the model of the dishwasher I wanted and the sales price listed on their website. Then came the unexpected! I was offered a better make and model for $50 less than what I was asking to buy. Since I had done my homework ahead of time, I was familiar with the features, what experiences reviewers had with this dishwasher, and the average price other retailers were charging for this model. I knew I was being offered a better quality dishwasher with more features and at a price that was far lower than any other retailer. I grabbed it! I was in Spencer's less than 10 minutes and walked out with a promise of delivery and installation the next day. The next morning I received a text with a 2-hour window of when the installers would arrive. They arrived when they said they would and I was amazed at how fast and efficient the installation went. They cleaned up so no one could tell they had even been in my home (except for the new dishwasher under my kitchen counter). I wish every major purchasing experience could be this hassle free. Kudos to Spencer's and all the employees who own this business!"
