Agave's Restaurant at Harrah's Ak Chin

"We had dinner at Agave’s with a large group. Arianna was our server. She was on point! Excellent personality, very attentive, all around excellent service! Food was good, I loved the appetizer chicken wings,…and I had the brisket pot roast, it tasted good, it was just way too much mashed potatoes in relation to the brisket. Overall very good dining experience."

"The hours are wrong. They close everyday at 2pm and do not open again until 4pm. Breakfast is only until 2pm. I don’t know why they changed to this but it’s really frustrating. The wait is awful even for 7 stars, we still wait a half hour, during the week! The food is overpriced for basic diner food. No gluten free options. It reminds me of dennys. They also will not accept a to go order on a Tuesday because they claim to be too busy, yet there are open tables and servers in the back area talking. I wanted a side of fruit, thats it. I don’t do think they have a manager here in the mornings, it is not ran well. Always disappointed. I hope they turn this place around. It was so much better before the menu change, the food was better then too."

"Came in for a late breakfast of Eggs Benedict. Service was slow & she was fumbling with her tray so maybe she was new. She was very pleasant & personable, but slow.. IE: offering a refill on my coffee but taking almost 10 min to get it to me. She definitely needs to work on not picking up glasses & cups from the top.. that's where MY lips go, not my servers fingers. The food looked good, it was prepared well.. hash browns were crisp like I requested, poached eggs were a tad overdone but still totally acceptable, & the Canadian bacon was a nice thick cut & very tender.. but the food had no flavor. It was a plate of very bland food. I had to salt everything fairly heavily & I'm not a big fan of salt, like I don't even have a salt shaker in my house. The more I ate, the more disappointed I was 'cause it looked good. Now back to handling cups & glasses from the top.. IDK if I caught a bug that way or what, but my gut has been absolutely torn up for two days now & Imodium hasn't even made a dent. This was my first time here, & at some point I might give it another try, but unfortunately the reviews were accurate for my visit."

"The breakfast was great!! Mimosas come “deconstructed”, which I personally love. You can add your own amount of OJ! Food was good, service was even better. Would definitely be back."

"Would have given 5 stars if the wait wasn’t over an hour on a Monday to be seated and food took almost equally as long to arrive after being ordered. However our server Lynn, needs special recognition for being awesome and super accommodating. Our first time in this restaurant and I would go again because she made the visit so pleasant. I took my Dad out for his birthday and we loved the Salmon dinner. I will come back again."
