"This is a fantastic flavorful delight to find in such an unexpected place. I've had Hawaiian BBQ before, but this was fall apart chicken & ribs, with the brown rice was puffy and delicious. The portions were 3 times the size I expected for the price I paid. If you haven't been here, I highly recommend the stop. This is probably tied for the top 2 BBQ places I've ever had & most of them are on my history here. Really just depends on the meat you're looking for."
"Was thinking of eating at MoBettahs until I was recommended this restaurant by a local, and it did not disappoint! Got their Kalua pork and it was delicious! Also tried the short ribs and they were great too. The rice for the Kalua pork is served with a honey sauce that was a sweet way to balance out the saltiness of the pork. Though the restaurant looks like it was built out of an existing Arctic Circle or something like that so the interior doesn’t quite match the island vibes, it was still a great meal."
"Honolulu Grill is a hometown favorite. The Katsu Chicken is executed perfectly. The garlic chicken is also tasty. Super friendly service. I’d certainly eat here again."
"The food here is amazing! It comes in huge portions, and it is definitely authentic Hawaiian! The cucumber salad has a hint of vinegar if you’re ok with vinegar. The macaroni salad is really good. The meats are really heavy and juicy. It was too much meat for me personally, but my group really enjoyed the meat options. I probably would have liked a little bit more macaroni salad rather than the meat."
"I absolutely love this place. I moved here in 1999 and they were here as a hometown mom and pop restaurant all the way back then. They bring the delights of the islands directly into our lives. And trust me they are way better by far tham any of the big chain knockoffs. Pretty much love everything on the menu. Do yourself a favor and eat at Honolulu Grill."
