"Warning: A Disastrous Encounter with Express Plumbing I feel compelled to share a cautionary tale about my family’s experience with Express Plumbing, hopefully to spare others from enduring the financial and emotional turmoil my wife and I faced. On 8/9/23, we noticed a water issue in our bedroom, prompting a call to Express Plumbing. Little did I know, this decision would lead to financial and emotional distress for my wife and me. Initially, the plumber attempted to upsell us, quoting exorbitant prices ranging from $316 to $1200 for a basic valve replacement. Despite opting for the simplest solution, the issue persisted. Subsequent visits by Express Plumbing only exacerbated the problem. A second opinion revealed their negligence – they had failed to replace a crucial component, the flex line, during their attempts. As the days passed, the slow leak transformed into a full-blown catastrophe. Our home became infested with gnats, crawling out from under the cabinet, a direct consequence of Express Plumbing's incomplete and careless repairs. The damages to our property were extensive, including walls torn apart, our bathroom cabinet and vanity dismantled, and our living space invaded by workers, fans, and heaters for months. What adds insult to injury is the ruined plans of a vacation. My wife and I had planned to escape the winter blues, but the financial strain caused by Express Plumbing's negligence rendered that impossible. Initially, Express Plumbing acknowledged their mistake and promised to cover all damages. However, when asked to formalize their commitment in writing, they abruptly changed their tune. They ultimately abandoned their responsibility, leaving us to deal with the aftermath. In sharing this, my intention is to urge extreme caution if you are considering Express Plumbing's services. Their dishonesty, lack of integrity, and disregard for customer satisfaction have left an indelible mark on our lives. Please think twice before entrusting them with your home.
