"What a wonderful discovery! While in the military I spent two years in Afghanistan, but never spent time in Iraq. While driving by at lunch time I spotted this place and decided it was time to compare flavors. The two members of the staff were arm and friendly, and were happy to serve me, providing excellent recommendations on what to eat. And the food? The food was fantastic. The flavors exploded on my tongue with rich spices and delightful sauces. The kebabs and falafel were filling and flavorful, the rice had a perfect texture and taste, even the side salad was shockingly delightful. The restaurant was very clean, with warm and welcoming furnishings. Though the styles were a bit different from Afghanistan these Iraqi imports really helped clench what was, in many ways, a cultural experience of the Middle East well worth enjoying. All in all this was truly a delight, and I will be sure to be back!"
"Found this gem when I was across town and driving past a sea of fast food restaurants that just didn’t sound good. Went in and was immediately greeted by friendly voices. Looking over the menu, it was hard to decide because so much of it looked so good. Settled on the chicken shawarma and it did not disappoint! So flavorful and tender! I also indulged a bit this time and got some baklava which was the perfect ending to an amazing meal. The staff are incredibly friendly and kind and make the overall atmosphere a wonderfully comfortable and relaxing place. Will definitely be bringing my family back here!"
"A clean and quiet atmosphere. Walk to order (much like a deli). Friendly staff. Food had good presentation and flavorful. We tried Kubba potato, falafel. Kebob, hummus, chicken."
