"I volunteer to pet the cats and play with the kittens. I have adopted two lovable cats from there."

"I found the director rude and condescending. I was very interested in a dog that had been returned twice, but insisted on a full vet check. That seemed to irritate the director."

"Very disappointed in the rules they have in place on adoptions, for a place to be as full as they are. I tried to adopt a beautiful dog they’ve had for a while and she’s the oldest one. I brought my dog in to attempt to meet her and because he isn’t neutered I was unable to see her. Even though she is fixed, I couldn’t adopt because he was not. My dog is 8 years old, I am not risking putting him under to be clipped for no reason. I was really looking forward to giving her a good home but could not unfortunately. It’s pretty sad considering she would have been able to be out of that kennel and into a loving home, with another dog to love and play with. They are too picky and because of that they will continue to have unadopted pets. They would rather them be trapped in cages than into a loving home with an unfixed animal. Just disappointing."

"The workers went out of their way to give us a tour of the facility as we made our way back to see the smaller dogs. They were kind & knowledgeable about each pet with recommendations who might be the best fit. The facility was clean. There were a few volunteers on hand working with the dogs and cats/kittens."
