"We used Mad Hatter since 1994 at our other home. In our new home, we purchased a new gas log system a few years ago. We started having problems with the starter. We had Jason out here in October. He did a pretty hard sales press on us for services including the exclusive service club. He explained if we paid several hundred dollars for the club, we could get better appointments. Bottom line: he changed the batteries on our remote and 2 months later and $360 later our gas logs still aren’t starting. Because we aren’t in the club, there’s no way we’ll get Jason back here before the holidays. You get what you pay for, or less. Would NOT recommend."
"We had the Mad Hatter out to clean our chimney as well as figure out why we had smoke coming back into our house while burning fires. Jason was very thorough and upon inspecting the chimney, gave a proposed solution to our smoke issue. He cleaned the chimney and fireplace and once that was done, he went over our options and possible outcomes with us. He is needing to find parts and I have faith that he will follow up appropriately. I have already received an eight page inspection report, complete with pictures and a recap of the recommendations he made. I would very much recommend them to others."

"The Mad Hatter Service Company of St. Louis crew was hard working and thorough. Sean, Clayton, Jason and Junior worked as a team. Add in some finishing touches by Marcus. The lead off duo of Sean and Clayton made sure our beast of a chimney, a solid masonry chimney with nothing hollow or easy about it, would come down. Impressive work! These technicians along with Marina and Joe were attentive and responsive to our needs. We recommend them."
