The Buffalo Soldier Shelter is a non-profit organization located in Missouri, United States. Our mission is to provide shelter and support services to homeless veterans in need. Our dedicated staff work tirelessly to ensure that every veteran who comes through our doors is given a safe and welcoming place to stay, as well as access to resources such as job training, mental health support, and assistance with finding permanent housing. "Was clean, beautiful scenery... had a great time with 70 friends and family"

"I went there to watch the fireworks on July 1st. It was a really good fireworks display. There were a lot of people but it wasn't overwhelming like it was a few years earlier. That year the cars were backed up from the pavilion all the way to Telegraph Road. They have a lot of officers out directing traffic and it really helped move things along."

"Great place to have a picnic or a barbecue and is very peaceful relaxing there and there is a good chance did you will see white-tailed deer while you were there it's a relaxing spot to take your acoustic guitar and set and strum on one of the picnic table"

"Jefferson Barracks is one of the great parks along the Mississippi River .Scenic trails great on foot or bicycle. Also saw people fishing too"

"One of the picnic pavilions in Jefferson Barracks Park. Would be a great location for a family or small corporate event. The covered pavilion has many tables, BBQ grill, water fountain and near by restroom. Location is great because it's not on the main road but close enough that you have easy access to the paths, memorials , historical building/museums and sports fields."
