"The music was way way too loud. It hurt my ears even with noise canceling headphones on. And there was ash in the air that got into my eyes making them itch and burn. Its CHURCH, not a night club. Black and gray colors. What's up with that? There were missionaries and that was good hearing about that stuff. The atmosphere would have been better without the nightclub effects."

"God where to begin.. when I was a boy I watched as Pastor Ming baptized my mother, this had to have been around 2000's.. God if I had known back then what it meant and why my mother was so excited when she threw her hands in the air coming out of the water. That was the beginning, she then joined the worship team and man did she sing. Some of you that have been there since the beginning may recognize her by voice or by her food. What an amazing woman and mother Jeannette Ruiz. Through challenges and tribulation this team at JFWC raised us up in spirit and in hope. We had come from Puerto Rico with no expectations of family. This church changed that. Almost instantly they invited us in as family and we've hence made several family members and friends from the relationships through JFWC. This place is an amazing place to be and worship. The last memory I recall wasn't a pleasant one as it was during the wipe out of Joplin our beloved home. However JFWC went above and beyond the call of duty and outreach programs began. How I have missed my family in Joplin. Soon we will be back with my now growing family as I wish my children to know the love and life we lived in Joplin along with the passion that comes from this place. From the largest ice cream sundae in the parking lot to the blow up jesus freak concerts we LOVED in the sanctuary. We love and miss our forever family. We watch online every Sunday we can and soon we can join once again in person. You can't go wrong coming here. It's family it's passion it's the love of God in a nutshell. "This is a family friendly, Spirit- filled church. Pastors Dan and Cindy preach the Word, without compromising the Truth. Worship is fantastic and draws you in. There is a kid's church and a younger years class available. The youth meet on Wednesday evening. We are so glad we found JFWC!"
