"Came in today to the office with cash in hand wanting to rent one of the one bedrooms they had coming up available. Been working across the street for 3 years and I'm very reliable had all the requirements and money but as soon as I pulled up the office lady seen me and hurried up and locked the door and took off like a bat out of hell to try to avoid me. Told me everything I need to know about the place Big hell no for me. And this was at 3:00 p.m. in the afternoon"
"DO NOT RENT HERE! If you are wanting a parking spot for your car near your building then you can just forget it about. And I raised this concern to management and they just brush it off like a joke. And they told me if I want a parking spot I can pay extra money for one. This reserved spot still won’t be close to your building. It is the property managers job to manage parking throughout the complex and yet they just tell you it’s your problem not theirs. I have rented from quite a few places and never had a issue with parking. I will ensure you will find a better place to call home then here. This is not the place to rent from. I won’t be renewing my lease just from the negative response from their lazy property manager. For the rent price you pay and don’t have a decent spot for parking at all you will definitely feel like you are being robbed here."
"This was my first apartment after moving out of my parents house and they worked amazing with me when I had no clue what I was doing and Maria always took the time to explain it. It was a great first place and always worked with us if something went wrong. I even got some of my deposit back and felt they were honest about the reviews after moving out. My boyfriend, my pup and I recommend this place to several people looking for a new place! Only downfall to this place is parking sometimes is packed but most weeknights it was fine!"
"This is going to be very long but if you are considering moving here please read this whole thing. I had put off writing a review in fear of retaliation, I was going to wait until my current lease was up but after this last week I have had enough. I moved here January of 2017 with a roommate to a two bedroom two bath. Jessica was the manager at that point in time and took care of almost everything. You never had to deal with Marilyn the owner. Your problems were usually resolved and she was mostly fair. Since then we have gone through FIVE managers/leasing agents in the office and currently do not have one. There is a tenant, the maintenance man and occasionally Marilyn "taking care" of things in the office. When I was getting ready to sign my second lease for a NEW apartment, in a NEW building, which was a ONE bedroom not a two bedroom like the one I was moving out of, I was told I would receive the new tenant incentive of $100 off the first three months of rent. This heavily weighed on my decision to stay at this complex, not move to a new one. I had to re pay first & last months rent, a security deposit, and a pet deposit. Then was told by Marilyn upon signing the lease I would not be able to receive the $100 due to the fact I was not a new tenant. Even though they required me to re-apply and have a background check run etc. as if I were a new tenant. After some back and forth I was FINALLY granted the $100 then only received it for 2 months. Now at this point I don't even call to argue because this woman is insane. She has no idea what she is talking about. She talks in circles avoiding the issue at hand and nothing is ever her fault. I left my previous apartment SPOTLESS. Holes patched and paint touched up, carpet cleaned, bathrooms and kitchens scrubbed. I did not get to see the apartment I was moving into until the movers were already there moving things into said apartment. It was DISGUSTING. The stove and oven hadn't been touched, nor had the bathroom. The carpets had not been cleaned. The front door was severely scratched, probably by a dog and the trim piece broken. The blinds were so stained from smoke the matience man, Charles came and replaced them for me. One of my burners was missing a screw. Almost 6 months later it still has not been fixed. Every time I walk into the entrance of my new building it smells terribly of weed. And there was just a homicide in another building due to drugs. The laundry rooms have been broken into and they still have not fixed all of the washers and dryers. This place offers almost no amenities. A pool that's opened late every year and covered parking for an additional $20 a month. I pay $740 in total for a one bedroom one bathroom apartment that is out dated and needs many repairs. This place is run and managed so poorly I strongly advise you to spend a little more and find somewhere else, this place will swindle every dime they can out of you regardless. The only positive is SOME of the FAMILIES; parents with children, Charles the maintence man and the location. Other than that I have hardly had a positive experience in the year and a half I have lived here. Update as of June 29th 2018: After writing this review I was harassed over my dog and forced to jump through hoops to provide paperwork I had already provided. In doing this I also provided proof of never receiving my full move in concession. After I gave all of this paper work to Marilyn I was granted the concession and my stove was fixed. I am not deleting my previous review because I do feel it is important to know what you're getting yourself into. I am updating this because I also believe it should be known that eventually my current issues were resolved. The best advice I can give you if you move here is to make sure you keep record of all of your payments, your lease and any other paperwork tied into this. Good luck!"
