"I am deeply saddened to leave this review, as the nurse practitioner- Julia Eden is a saint. I am very thankful I’d gotten to know her as a care provider but because of the over all office atmosphere.. I wouldn’t recommend this office. I’d went there several months ago, and saw a different NP, (Bonnie) who did not treat me with any respect, and would not listen to me as a patient. I don’t go to the doctors often, and had difficulty getting my medical records transferred.. Instead of listening to my medical history, she told me if it wasn’t on the chart- she basically couldn’t treat it because her ‘clinic assessment’ didn’t indicate I had the issue I was coming in for. I told her that I’ve had said problem chronically since I was a child.. Due to that, I knew how to catch it early before it got worse, and generally how to treat it- if I can at home, I will. She still treated me like an absolute child about the whole situation because she assumed it was just something I’d never experienced before because there was ‘no record of it’ I brought family with me mainly because I couldn’t speak, my throat hurt. There was a verbal altercation and regardless of who was in the wrong or right, this NP decided to make remarks regarding a medical disability the person I brought with me had- in any case, this was wrong as a medical provider. Especially one who was as arrogant in her abilities as she was. Like I said, this experience made me very uncomfortable to come back- but I do really appreciate Julia which is why I disregarded the whole situation and haven’t spoken about it, but now I am attempting to get medical records transferred and confirmed for my midwife and they seem to have an issue picking up the phone. I would also like to note, that several days later- I went to another doctor who did confirm I had the reoccurring issue I went to be seen for, and it had led to bronchitis."

"First time I went there for eye and general check up. Walked away with psych meds I actually had to stop her from leaving to talk to her about my eye and the general check up I came in for. And she just told me to go to an eye doctor. Which is a solution (and I figured I would have to do so). but it's the fact I had to stop her and address as she was halfway out the door. No real evaluation but was making assumptions off of my previous medical experiences. Trying to wedge herself into an area that she had no reason to be asking about. (And she had me come in another time to reevaluate the meds she prescribed me) Second time I went in there with a different doctor, it was really just business. No small talk, nothing to get you a little more comfortable. Which is fine. But had the attitude of "you don't really know what you're talking about and here's a solution for something that isn't the issue" And I felt like she was annoyed and didn't really want to be bothered. Couldn't be bothered to do her job. Other than that it was okay. Pricing for if you don't have insurance, good. Billing can be a bit obnoxious when they mail it to you. Front desk people were alright. Would not recommend this place to others."

"The practitioners are fine but the front office staff could be friendly when you come in."

"I would not recommend OCH to anyone. There is a reason that the whole clinic has had a complete turnover. A family member seen NP Bonnie yesterday. When we inquired if FM had a sinus infection. NP stated she did not. Not one time did she look into FM nose. However when Bonnie was questioned and we explained how unprofessional she was being and Craig’s daughter(I assume office mgr) entered she lied and said she did look in FM nose and did not seen any green mucus. (Green signifies infection) FM has chronic sinus infections. Bonnie then became very antagonistic and started making fun of my hearing impairment. Finally FM (patient) looked at her and said stop, you have crossed a line into discrimination of a persons disability.. I have worked for over 5 physicians and never have seen such unprofessionalism. I had my records transferred to another clinic after seeing Dr Pendergrass for 26 years. OCHs billing is absolutely a mess as well. I keep telling them they need to bill it under my GP name NOT under OCH or a nurse practitioner. Hoping they figure out their system."

"This place uses a third party billing company (Ozark Community Hospital is a 3rd party billing company) so good luck getting answers to billing questions. I asked for an itemized statement was told they only email those. I had to tell them I wasn't paying until I got an itemized copy. That's when they decided they could give me a paper copy.itemized . Don't use these people"
