"What a fantastic place! I was very surprised by the scope of products they offer from locally sourced groceries to any garden accessory you could need. They've got an immense plant selection with very reasonable prices but their staff is where they truly shine the brightest. What happy, helpful people! You can tell they truly enjoy being there and it absolutely spills over to the customer. ***Free potting when you buy a plant and a pot too-how cool is that?!***"

"Very, very disappointed! Our company River Watch Beef has been a vendor in their local market since Colonial Gardens opened several years ago. BE ADVISED, they do not pay vendors on time, or even close. We've had to wait MONTHS to get paid on our beef deliveries. It's been excuse after excuse. They have high staff turnover and the upper management doesn't seem to care. What a disappointing company that claims to support local businesses, but seems to take advantage of us. Revised 1-5-24 This response from the company is a lie, they never contacted us. Complete non-sense: "We take all reviews very seriously. I'm glad we were able to connect offline and we wish you the best in all your new endeavors.""

"Well, it's winter here, and it's just so nice to go into a greenhouse and breathe in the nice greenhouse air!!! Yes, it's a great place during the summer as well as great selections to choose from. I get a lot of my perennial plants here as they have so many of the pollinators selection that I like, and I have had great success keeping them alive. I didn't get any pics, but they do have a huge selection of trees to pick from as well. They also have started doing a small tasting spot in the garden, which is life. A small area to buy some honey, wine, fruit, etc.... Across the street, they started doing dine with alpacas, which I haven't done but looks like fun."

"My mom and I went to the Flower Festival August 19th. We had a blast! It was so beautiful. We got to pick as many flowers as we could in a 5 gallon bucket for $45. One nice thing is you can bring the bucket back and refill it for $30 next time you want to pick flowers. Great price. Friendly staff. Worth the experience if you love picking flowers and just hanging out in an orchard. They also have rows and rows of apple trees you can pick. We didn't do that part, but it looked fun too!"
