"She’s horrible, she never bleached the knots as published , she let me walk out with white glue showing and wig cap on the sides, she was late, and unorganized. I went to her a couple of times and she would always double charge my card AT EVERY APPOINTMENT! I’m glad I found better she’s the worst."

"An hour before my appointment I received a text from Ashley stating that she needed to move my appointment to later that day or the next morning. I called her to inform her that I couldn’t do either appointment change due to me leaving that very night at 8pm. I was heading out of town to get married the next day. Ashley proceed to tell me that she had to cancel due to a family emergency. Ashley tone was very rude and unapologetic. She came off as if I called her last minute and needed a favor. When calling her to inform her about going out of town to get married she kept rudely staying “did you read the text message, did you read the text message?” I understood emergency come up but I went into panic mode and didn’t really know what else to say. This lady never tried to be gentle in her tone knowing I was hurt. Ashley was very unprofessional the way she handle the situation. Never acknowledge the importance of my appointment. She did inform she could talk to her next client to make a switch but her tone was very nasty. I never once raised my voice or talk to her directly rude. Instead she kept telling me to calm down in a passive aggressive tone. When she called my phone back she spoke with my fiancée stating that I was very theatrical and had drama. But she was the one giving off bad energy. As a bride about to get married I had reason to panic. You called someone an hour before their appointment when it’s for a wedding and give no sympathy and then turn your rudeness on them. I honestly was really looking forward to trying her out but not after the way I was spoken too and lied on."

"The owner, Ashley, did a no call no show on me. I booked her through style seat, even confirmed with her by going to the salon in person and got feedback on the type of hair to do for my sew in. That Friday evening, other stylists are working on other people’s hair in the salon and I waited about 15 minutes before one of the stylists came up to me and said “Ashley still hasn’t said anything to you yet”. I still have not received any correspondence from her to date. Her work looks good but she is not a professional. Additionally the salon has no parking so you have to pay at the metered street parking. Be careful booking Ashley especially if you want your hair done for an important event. If she’s this unprofessional, I cannot imagine how her employees behave."

"I am writing from my business email to protect my identity and save backlash. To keep it short, I scheduled for a lace frontal install. The hair was dropped off 4 days prior to my appointment (per the stylist/owner policy). When I arrived to my appointment (at 10:30) ON TIME, she still had a client in the chair that hadn’t even had her hair 50% completed. I waiting about 30 minutes just for a wash and braid (by her assistant) afterwards I waited almost 2 hours JUST for her to START my install. After she finished the client before me, She took my lace to the back (maybe for plucking) for at least 45 minutes (keep in mind my hair was there 4 days before my appointment. She worked on things with her assistant all while I waited PATIENTLY to get my hair done. The install was rushed and I am not satisfied with my experience. It hurts because I work hard for my money like everyone else, and didn’t even receive an apology for all the time she wasted and still I don’t even like my hair. A week in and I’m ready to just take it out. ($500 hair plus her $285 to install. I even paid for 3 hours in the meter outside her shop and got a $15 ticket because it ran out while she was doing my hair. The appointment was supposed to last 10:30-12:30...I didn’t leave til after 3 Overall I am very disappointed because she is popular and POSTS good work on social media so I assumed I would be treated well. I would not recommend her services to anyone. I am all for black owned and uplifting sisters, but bad business is just BAD BUSINESS. There was No need to say anything because of her policy I know it won’t be corrected. But this review might save someone else the trouble."
