"The place used to be a mom and pop repair shop where they repaired tools in-house house at that location. Now they ship everything to Springfield to get it repaired and you have to make sure to get it there on the correct date for it to be worked on that week otherwise you have to wait a second week. If the parts aren't readily available you might wait a month. It is good though to have a place to take power tools that are not working properly and have them repaired instead of buying new ones. I would recommend to compare their repair cost to buying a new tool from an online dealer. It's sad but a lot of times you can buy the new tool for a cheaper price. The staff has been pretty helpful in the store and they do carry Milwaukee DeWalt and Makita. They may carry other brands but I don't remember for sure. Sometimes you can get a better deal at Al's than you can at one of the big box stores plus you don't have to deal with a million people in the store. The bonus is you are supporting local businesses."
