""I am writing to share my horrible experience with Ridout Lumber Company, a flooring installation service I used in 2022 for my property in Parsons KS. The installation of our LVP flooring was not done correctly, and the overall service and response from the company were horrible. My wife has been trying to get ahold of them for over a year. They made a choice to not return phone calls that messages were left on a company phone. Communication with the company's management was notably unprofessional, both in my interactions and those involving my assistant Debbie. Since my wife has passed of cancer, before she left numerous messages. The flooring installation was not properly installed. We have documentation of everything. Despite multiple attempts to address the issues, the company did not take responsibility for the poor installation by Ridout nor did they stand behind their product or employee installed. This lack of responsiveness and accountability has been extremely disgusting and disheartening. Based on my experience, I must advise others to be cautious when considering Ridout out of Joplin Missouri for their flooring needs. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend their services and suggest looking for a company that values customer satisfaction and professional service." Lisa and Brady are who I worked with out of Joplin. Brady was horrible customer service and talked horrible to Debbie who assisted with this entire process. Unfortunately when flooring was being installed I knew it did not look right. I consistantly asked but there was a huge language barrier. I do not speak spanish. I would stay clear of this company."

"I had carpet removed and new carpet laid by Ridout in my new home last month. The did a fabulous job! From the ladies at the store that helped me make my carpet selection, to Lisa who came and measured at my house, to the hard working husband and wife team who laid my carpet-they all did an amazing job! Thank you!"

"Unprofessional and rude employees. Witnessed them mocking a disabled person at lowes on March 14th 2023, around 11am. They were wearing their company jackets. Glad to say I’ve never heard of them as a 4th generational contractor nor do we use them, and now I’ll let others know to avoid"

I love working with the staff there. They are very knowledgeable and go out if their way to be as helpful as possible. It’s great to have a local business to support. I highly recommend them."
