"DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! These people will scam you! They are not willing to make things right if there’s a problem!!! We’ve been shopping here 3 or so years! We’ve never really had any complaints until now. We bought fish one day brought the fish home to freeze it. We bought several fish that day…FISH BOUGHT BECAUSE WE WANT TO EAT IT, right? We don’t buy fish to spoil it. We thawed the fish out, my husband went to cut into it and it fell apart. It looked odd, so we took it back! This was Omaha’s response: They’ve NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS BEFORE! So basically, because they have one now by us, our claim was null in void, invalid. “Maybe our freezer doesn’t work” was second. “Maybe we didn’t take it right home afterwards!!!” (Mind you, we ate the other fish we purchased the same day!) Ultimately, we were surprised by the insults. She insinuated that we were negligent in taking care of the product we purchased. The unprofessional way she handled our problem was appalling. She rather argue with us than to fix the problem. We left the fish waiting for management to contact us as she said he would. And NO RETURNED PHONE CALLS TO RECTIFY THE SITUATION!! They don’t want our business so we won’t be back!!! BEFORE: there was a man working there, he sold me outdated toothpaste! BEWARE OF THE DATES OF THEIR PRODUCTS! If that could happen, then maybe that piece of fish was thrown in last and it had a problem! Ijs"

"Didn't offer a wide variety of things I was looking for. It had a few familiar items that would be relevant across the Diaspora i.e. provisions, yams, frozen oxtails. Pricing was not competitive."

"I called this store to ask about the price and availability of a product. I was told to call back in the next thirty minutes. An hour later when I called back, I was told the product was available but the man would not give me the price. I pleaded with him to tell me the price as I needed to have an idea in order to come with that amount but he refused. I have to say that it is so uncivil. Just to let you know that consumers have the right to ask for prices, unless you do not want to sell your goods. All your choice."
