Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Joplin

"The website showed "pet friendly." I brought my ESA cat and was very rudely rejected, leaving me homeless after a month's worth of days in this hotel had already been paid for. It was refunded, but the attitude of the receptionist when rejecting me was disgraceful. I hope they remove "pet friendly" from the website because it was a flat-out lie."

"Front desk worker was constantly outside smoking, housekeeping never came to our room and got angry when I asked for a single clean towel. Junkies and homeless people off the street roaming the halls and tripping hard in the breakfast area. One guy drove up off the highway, parked outside the front door, took ALL the sausage, biscuits and most of the eggs then got back in his car and drove off while the desk clerk was outside smoking. Eggs had several black hairs in them. Tiny beds with crumbs and hair on it. Bathroom had weird red stains on the mirror and many broken tiles. Several derelict cars in the parking lot...Flat tires, broken windows, filled with trash. I will never stay here again!"

"I stayed here last night while visiting Joplin. To start off, the place is a bit dated but I didn't mind. The room was pretty basic but had everything I needed. The beds were also comfy. My only complaint about the room is the shower was a bit iffy. It kept going from cold to really hot and then back to cold. I was pretty disappointed though with the pool being closed. The whole reason I picked this place was for the indoor pool so that was disappointing. Overall, my stay here was okay and I would recommend the place if you need somewhere cheap for a quick stay. Also the place is conveniently located near lots of restaurants and shops."

"We was visiting family in the Joplin Missouri area and stayed three nights there. I was there 4 or 5 years before this visit and stayed in the Econo Lodge Inn then to. They have a pool and Hot tub ( Jacques ) . The rooms were decent and service to then was good. They had a variety of food in the free breakfast offered daily. Plenty of reasonable restaurants and gas stations as well as Walmart and other stores close by to. I say go stay a couple night or a weekend and have some fun."

"The room was a little dated. But very clean and comfortable. The staff were the best part of our stay. Very warm and welcoming. Always ready to help. From check in to check out. Along with their big breakfast, indoor pool, and hot tub, i would choose a room here over the newer ones every time. Thanks guys! We loved our stay with you!!"
