"Had an awesome experience. Our first time staying here since they opened. Room was awesome very spacious especially for the price. Biggest downside was there is no appliances in the rooms. No microwave or refrigerator. Knowing we had kids they gave us an awesome they gave us an awesome room right next to the side door which made it way easier to handle getting two kids in. The shower was the best part very spacious. And the location is nice because I don't have to worry about somebody breaking into my car here"
"Stayed 11/26 -11/28/2023 in room103 felt like it was used for staff. There were problems; 1. Bed poor padding,felt springs. 2. Shower door did not latch, so water leaked on floor getting out was dangerous. 3. Chair at desk had 3 worn spots. 4. Staff enter room without knocking. So South Joplin Sleep Inn was a truck stop flop."
"The first time I stayed here with my two young grandsons we had a blast! So I decided to return here this weekend. However this time the GM was here. He has been VERY hateful to my grandsons yelling at them for running to catch the elevator!!! He yelled at them and said people had called and complained! Within 3 minutes?? I think not! We won’t be back. Don’t bring your kids here bc they are obviously not welcome!!!"
"Good sized affordable rooms with the shower being surprisingly spacious. Bed is wonderfully comfy, especially compared to the slabs of barely padded plywood in 18-wheelers. Staff is quite friendly and helpful, assisting with minor issues in a timely manner. The location is great, being right next to the Joplin 44 Petro and they even have 20% off coupons for the Iron Skillet. All in all, I highly recommend staying there to all drivers who need to get out of their truck for a day or two. I'll certainly be coming back."
