"As a visiting Memphian, I can admit that I was headed to patronize another Black Owned Restaurant, smelled the bbq coming from this place, and I had to turn around. Least to say, I am so glad that I did! The man at the counter was friendly & the food was scrumptious! My friend is an even bigger critic of food and die hard Memphis BBQ defender and even he had a hard time saying anything bad about the tips, beans, or potato salad! You do pay a pretty penny & I could’ve done with maybe half the portion of rib tips but if your belly can hold a lot at once, it’s well worth it!"

"The Crowd Says It All Consistently great Bar-B-Que in the heart of Historic Ferguson. By far the best I’ve had during my 20-year stay in STL. Anyone can post pictures of the food. My pics are of the crowd on a random Friday evening. Sides are very limited. It would be great to pick up some collards, corn bread, baked Mac and sweet potatoes with the Bar-B-Q. Maybe they can be convinced to add those. The beef ribs and chicken are highly recommended. But the beef ribs go very quickly. So if you get there in the evening, they are probably sold out. Two other quick points: 1. The sauce is so good, I buy it by the jar. But they run out fairly quickly. 2. Their music adds to the enjoyment and happy atmosphere."

"We’ve only ate here a handful of times because it was about a hour drive from our home. However, every time has been amazing. We went one last time before moving and got a 1/2 pan of rib tips. Let me tell you… first of all they gave us a FULL pan of rib tips! They also gave us a WHOLE loaf of bread and the nice gentleman carried it to my car without me even asking! It’s always a wonderful experience when we’ve gone and the food is top tier! PLEASE order the beef hot link, you will not regret it!"

"Haven't had the pleasure of visiting this establishment yet, but I've caught their bbq truck on a few occasions, and I've yet to be disappointed! You could literally seeing the juices dripping from the meat! Always fresh, and seasoned to perfection. The line tells it all, try them out!"
