"We came here around 5pm and it was moderately busy. The setup is interesting with everything given out in a takeout form with indoor seating. Would definitely recommend the Cajun chicken pasta, it had plenty of sauce and was rich! Maybe next time I would try it with shrimp instead, pretty good! It is pretty fair pricing for portion sizes and the sides were good as well."

"I frequently order Cathy’s Kitchen via food delivery services. Highly recommend their cajun chicken pasta and the gumbo! Tried the gumbo and 3 wings for the first time today and the gumbo was amazing! The review is missing one star due to the wings tasting as if they were fried in old or burnt grease. Other than that, my food was good and still tasted fresh upon arrival."

"Come on now LOOK at that Cajun Chicken pasta. You already KNOW the food was gonna hit. Such a flavorful experience, the staff was incredibly nice, and the vibes inside worh the music playing and the look was immaculate. I am from Chicago and just saying, PLEASE go give this spot a try."

"I’ve been wanting to try Cathy’s for awhile now, and today I finally made the drive from Fairview Heights that was well worth it. I intended to pay with cash, but I wasn’t aware of their no cash policy. I explained to the employees that I drove pretty far and had exact change, and they were able to make the one time accommodation. I really appreciated this gesture since I had drove from pretty far. I ordered the chicken Philly, steak Philly, wings and gumbo combo, and banana pudding cake. The philly’s were two of the best that I’ve ever had. I LOVED the addition of the giardiniera peppers; they added a really good taste, with a slight kick and crunch to the sandwiches. The fried chicken was perfectly crunchy and seasoned; the gumbo was not like any gumbo I’ve ever tasted, but I enjoyed it and would order it again! Lastly, the banana pudding cake was moist, creamy, and the perfect way to end a memorable lunch. I will definitely be back to Cathy’s Kitchen very soon. "Cathy’s Kitchen gets a 4 out of a 5! We got our food Togo. I had the Chicago Philly while my lady had the Chicken & Shrimp Spinach Pasta. My Chicago Philly was good but wasn’t great like I expected it to be due to the grade of steak and the peppers used. My lady had the Chicken & Shrimp spinach pasta and it was also good just not great like we expected as well. We both felt it needed a bit more flavor salt/seasoning wise. We both got the strawberry short cake now that was great and exceeded both me and my ladies expectations! The cake was soft, moist, and perfectly sweet."
