"I've been using EMS for several years. They are friendly, trustworthy and work with me and my budget. Joe has been amazing in helping me learn basic car maintenance tip and taught me how to check my oil levels and helps me understand and prioritize issues and work on my vehicle. I'm so glad I found them and would happily recommend them."

"Joe takes the hassle out of dealing with auto mechanics and offers a way friendlier approach on top of his honesty and the employees hard work to keep everything clean and safe. This is our first Mercedes-Benz or first high-end European car so we are out of our element here being used to GM's but thanks to Coop over at my favorite GM service shop Eaglecrest Automotive, we were able to locate the same stature of service but European. Thanks again guys!"

"Excellent service, very quick and fair pricing. I groaned as my check engine light came on after my BMW X3 warranty expired 3k miles prior and I knew anything BMW would be complicated. Joe helped get my car in the same day, part was delivered quickly and repairs done while I was at work. Thanks for your fast and friendly service!"

"I've been using European Motorcar Service for about 3 years now, first to service my Mini Cooper and now my BMW. I love these guys. They know what they are doing, they are friendly and helpful... and they have reasonable prices. They always try to get the best parts for the most inexpensive price. Sometimes I need to wait a few days for those parts to arrive, but it's so worth it to receive reliable, knowledgeable service and significantly better prices than the dealership."

"Joe told me my vehicle 100% needed a new motor due to a symptom he found in my engine and that the vehicle was worth maybe $1000 if I wanted to sell it without repairing it. I expected and planned to be out of pocket at least $5,000 and was really upset about it. I spent the money for all the parts Joe said I needed and it burnt a pretty big hole in my wallet. I then took it to Chevrolet in Springfield the very next day and they did an inspection of the motor (just like Joe did) and found the same symptoms as well (just like Joe did). Chevrolet then physically took my motor apart and told me to look at it with them (which Joe didn't do). The head gaskets, timing chain, head bolts, and valve cover gaskets that Joe told me I needed to replace were 100% fine and needed no reason for repair. All it needed was a new thermostat housing and coolant leak to attend to. I don't believe EMS physically looked at anything in my motor and just called one of their "other technicians" and gave me a quote for a new motor after finding one symptom that could realistically mean a lot of things that could be wrong. I ended up only paying under $500 for the repairs at Chevrolet and the car had zero problems after the repairs and I ended up selling it for much more profit than what I bought it for. I wouldn't have a problem with any of this if Joe just took the time to physically look into the problem instead of just telling me that I needed a new motor after finding one thing wrong and then just stopped looking in to it. I just feel like they tried to cheat me in giving them $3,000 to order a new motor and pay the $2,000 in labor when all I needed was just a thermostat housing. I won't be taking any of my vehicles to Joe anymore. He's a very friendly man and has helped me out a lot with other vehicle issues but really dropped the ball on my engine issue and had me spend thousands of dollars on parts and I can't even return half of them. He only did half the job and I unfortunately just can't bring myself to take another vehicle over to him."
