"We used to enjoy this place. The last 2 times (we gave them another chance) we have been cheated out of egg rolls, sauce etc. If you don't have it, substitute it! I got this for $21. And they want a tip while you wait in line! Worst place ever!!!"

"I paid 12 dollars for five bites of chicken. Feels really bad to type that. I know this place is a struggling business and I hate to discourage people from choosing this place, just don't expect any sort of reasonable portion. I just finished my lunch and I'm still hungry. "Food tastes wonderful, that hasn’t changed but the portions, holy minnow! Y’all really out here charging $11.99 for six tiny pieces of meat???? The crab Rangoon's were light on filling but super tasty, and the egg rolls were full and delicious. Tasted fresh, taste is not a problem they are consistently delicious, but I really hope this was just lazy serving rather than an example of their new portion sizes. (The messiness in below pictures is not their fault I live on a curvy road)"

"I have always loved Shanghai Express and it's always been my comfort food. I was so sad to see the tiniest portion of chicken I have ever received when I opened my box at home. From other reviews, it seems like this was not a fluke. I hope they listen to the reviews and bring the old portions back. I don't know if it's just new owners trying to save cost, but doing this will lose more money than it would save them. I only gave 2 stars because the flavor is the same, but I hope to be more excited next time I open my to go box from there."
