"Mr Powell and the team are one of kind people you will find! Most honest people i have ran into. Our Freightliner broke down near Joplin, and someone recommended Powell's and God bless them. We had a cylinder issue, and when Mr Powell took apart the head of the engine, he noticed that the valve is bad and said it could be that the cylinder head is bad, he gave me an estimate of about$10,000. I told him to proceed with the work, as soon as they start taking everything apart, they saw it was jus the spring for the valve, and they fixed it and put everything together and got the truck back on the road. The total repair was $1,600.00. Mr Powell and the team are the most honest people and best mechanics i met. If it was any other mechanics they would have over charged me screwed me over. "My semi would not start even after replacing batteries, starter, and alternator. We had it towed to Powell's truck service. The repair was completed within an hour. I called a locksmith to help us unlock two of our tool boxes with no luck and told us he could not replace them either. Steve at Powell was able to replace them with no issues. Our water pump in the sleeper was not working and was able to replace it, and now we have better water pressure. All within 4 hrs. Efficient service, fair pricing, friendly environment!!! "The guys at the shop were excellent!! Our truck started leaking oil in small quantities and then in larger. We had taken our truck to a dealership and they had told us that the oil cooler kit that our truck needed was on back order and that our truck would be fine without it as long as we checked the oil. When it started leaking more we sought out Mike Powell and his crew and their years of knowledge and experience. Within just a couple of days they thad completely changed the oil cooler and our truck was ready! Jesse was very polite and informative about the service they had preformed. He even went above and beyond to clean around the housing where the oil had been leaking for sometime. We would recommend this shop and their work ethics and honesty to anyone! As an added bones their prices put the dealership to shame!"
