"Terrible customer service. Our first time ever there, wasn’t even greeted when we walked in, the young guy just stared at us. We then said do we sit anywhere he said “uh no you order here and then sit anywhere” so we ordered and I said that was it and my father in law asked about drinks, the young man ignored him didn’t say a word and then handed us cups and a table number, definitely needs some training on customer service. Food came out fast we were surprised, my nachos were good but pulled pork was cold, the other two that were with me said their meat was not warm at all, the coleslaw was very very bland and the beans were just okay, Mac n cheese was cold as well. Did not feel like it was worth $70 for three meals. Will not be back sadly when all we heard was good things.."

"Well I’m not sure which BBQ is my favorite now. I will not mention the other establishment here. This review is just for Hog Tide. First off, this restaurant was spotless from the moment we walked through the door. My wife and I were greeted even before we got to the door. There was a waitress bussing an outside table and even though she had her hands full she welcomed us and opened the door for us. I was impressed and we returned the action by holding the door for her to get through with her full hands. The rest of the staff was friendly and informative. The before mentioned waitress took our order. We then found a table. There were a few televisions and of course they had the Cardinals game on. I don’t think we waited 10 minutes for our food to come out. It might have been a little longer but with everything to look at the time went fast. Another waitress brought us our food. She was very nice as well and attentive. The food was great. I had a 2 meat platter with smoked chicken and Texas sausage. Both were wonderful but the best was the baked potato salad and cornbread. My wife had burnt ends platter. She also had the potato salad but she got fried okra as well. Everything on her plate was delicious. Thank you Hog Tide BBQ for a wonderful dinner all around."
