"This was our first visit to Angus branch, and it was totally awesome! The atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice, and not overly loud! Our server was Tara, and not only was she very friendly and professional, but did a great job of taking care of us! The food was outstanding! Everything we had was very fresh and delicious! We highly recommend this restaurant and will make the trip from Springfield to Monet to eat here again! Thank you!"

"When we eat local, this is one of our go-to spots. Occasionally they have messed up an order, or its way to busy and a server will be a bit rushed or rude. Normally it is a great experience though. The food is toddler approved, which is rare right now due to a picky eater. Went for breakfast not long ago, I personally loved the hash browns and pancakes, but not so much the gravy. Toddler enjoyed her whole meal. Our latest dinner outing was amazing, got lucky and it was not to busy on a Saturday evening. Got the steak tip pasta without the basalmic sauce with salad bar and fried pickles for an appetizer. Husband got his favorite the alligator dinner with sweet potato fries."

"We ate here Sunday after church. It was very busy. Our server was a nice young woman who tried to give all of her tables good service. We both ate from the buffet. My favorite things on the buffet are spinach salad, brown beans (with mostly bean soup & chopped purple onion), cornbread, chicken strips, white gravy, and black berry cobbler with ice cream. I changed selections to chopped romaine lettuce, fried fish, and coconut cream pie. The coconut cream pie was delicious, the romaine lettuce was good, the fried fish was not."

"We loved it. First comes rolls with cinnamon butter. Don't get this if you're having a big meal and appetizers. *Portions are big. Steak Ribeye/Fries (perfect), French Dip/Okra (perfect), chips (awesome-crisp-warm) & Queso (both perfect), Onion appetizer (not blooming but scattered and just as fabulous) and lastly was BBQ sandwich. The BBQ sandwich roll was great but the grandkid who got this meal was dissatisfied bc the sandwich came with cheese in it (I don't know why instead of BBQ sauce) and when he requested "no cheese", he presumed BBQ sauce would come on the side, which it did not. So instead of requesting some, he pouted and took it home. But later when he ate it, he said it was great. My hubby and I loved this place...the food (unexpectedly reasonable), the atmosphere (so clean/new/comfortable/not overdone on decor) and our fabulous waitress who kept us filled and timed appetizers & food just right. We will go here every time we go to the Monett racetrack. *Next time, I'm trying the Reuben. It looked wonderful. Btw, best frozen margarita I ever had! The manager made it himself-in fact, he made me a second one too. Yum!"
